Humans are complex and multifaceted, and they all have positive and negative traits. If you look for things you don’t like in people and constantly tell them to stop doing those things, you’ll hate people. If you look for things you like in people and constantly enjoy those unique traits and your interactions through them, you’ll love people.

Honesty

It’s amazing how drastically people can misunderstand a person’s point of view simply by them being honest about what might be true. As soon as you say that something might be true, people assume that you think it is, especially if it’s something that they’re sure isn’t true. Over time, if you say that enough contradictory things might be true, eventually people assume you’re a confused and insane individual. This is but one way honest people are persecuted.

If only people would stop assuming, the world would be so much better…
